PLUMBING

It's nice to have running water!

This stainless steel sink is excellent.  It's big enough to wash dishes AND to take a sink bath--not at the same time, LOL.  I built a basic small counter for it out of Purebond plywood covered with contact paper.  This sink has a great finish, has a stopper with a strainer underneath.  It came with a lot of it's own pvc fittings.  I bought the last few fittings at Home Depot.  I ran a 1" pvc drainage hose (pictured below) down to a hole I drilled through the rear passenger wheel well.  Grey water drains out onto the rear tire.  Discreet!

I used this 1" flexible pvc hose as a drainage hose from my sink (pictured above) down to a 1" hole I drilled through the rear passenger wheel well.  Grey water discreetly drains down and out of the Stealth Tiny Home, onto the rear tire.

This 3/8" flexible pvc tubing was perfect to connect my Seaflo 12 volt pump (pictured below) to both my fresh water supply (pictured below) and to my faucet / showerhead (pictured below).  I secured the 3/8" tubing with  band hose clamps (pictured below).

These are the band hose clamps I used to tighten the pvc tubing to my Seaflo pump and to the showerhead.  Always double check to get the right size for your project.  They tighten using a flathead screwdriver. Very handy items, with hundreds of uses.

This rigid plastic fresh water 7 gallon jug is just the right size.  Big enough to hold enough water, yet small enough to carry manageably when I need to take it out of the Tiny Home to refill it.  Of course I have a garden hose to refill it from a public water spigot if needed.

This Seaflo 12 volt pump creates 35 psi of water pressure.  It is a very small pump.  I attached it to the underside of my sink counter.  This pump connects my freshwater tank to the faucet / showerhead.  Since it is 12 volt it plugs into my solar bank.  I added a separate On / Off  switch (see image below) wired into the positive (red) side.  This unit has a red (positive) and black (neutral) wire.  Simple to install.  Inexpensive enough to quickly replace if it ever fails.

This is a great quality, Top Rated toggle switch.  On / Off.  Perfect to splice into any light gauge red (positive) wire in a 12 volt system.

This inexpensive shower head assembly works well.  I discarded the included hose, preferring instead to use some of the 3/8" pvc tubing described earlier (see photo and description above) to connect it to my Seaflo pump.

DAP 3.0 is a great multipurpose silicon type sealant / caulk.  It dries to 100% waterproof.  I used it to caulk the seam between my sink (pictured above) and the countertop I build from Purebond plywood.  DAP is durable enough to be used for outside weatherproofing.  Save money and get one tube for all your Stealth Tiny Home construction uses.

Same great DAP product in a smaller squeeze tube.  The included applicator nozzle can be cut for a larger flow hole...to change the size of the silicon bead you squeeze out.
