CLEANING SUPPLIES
Fresh, Full, Tidy & Clean
Hydrogen Peroxide is useful. Buy it cheap at a local drug store or major chain. In a pinch you can order from Amazon. It is a good antiseptic. Cleans wounds, whitens teeth (and kills mouth germs), AND if you get a 3% solution, it does a great job killing black mold. Mold can be a recurring issue in Tiny Homes if you have a problem with high levels of humidity or condensation in your Tiny Home or Stealth Van. I keep some Peroxide in a spray bottle for quick applications.

Isopropyl Alcohol is another easy to find, cheap buy at drug stores or other major chain. In a pinch you can order it from Amazon. It's another good antiseptic. I use it to clean my Mr. Heater Buddy (propane heater), my laptop keyboard, my wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, etc...any electronics...and use Q-tips !

Get Q-tips. Don't bother with generic swabs. Just pay the extra dollar for quality assurance. These go great as multi-purpose cleaners for use with Isopropyl Alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide to clean electronics and other appliances. Also, these swabs do a great job of cleaning your ears!

It's nice to have a good antibacterial dish soap around. Lots of choices, and prices vary so shop around! In a pinch you can get this from Amazon. This soap can be diluted with water in a spray bottle to help check for gas leaks around your propane tank / supply hose / Mr. Heater Buddy. If you see bubbles, you got a gas leak.

Generic spray bottles are cheap and easy to get at a local Dollar Store. Amazon has them too if you can't find them elsewhere. I keep one spray bottle full of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide, one with diluted Simple Green multipurpose cleaner and one bottle with a mix of water and dish soap. The soap water bottle I use to check for leaks around my propane heating system.

I used a spray foamer to clean the interior of my Stealth Van just before I began rebuilding the insides. I also use the spray foamer to clean the outside of the Stealth Van. This device attaches to a garden hose. I fill the mixing jug with diluted Simple Green. You can pick this spray foamer / mixer up cheaper at large hardware stores like Home Depot, but in a pinch you can order it off Amazon.

The upside of having a basic garden hose is that you can clean the outside of your Tiny Home, or the inside of your Stealth Van project before you rebuild and customize the insides. You also need a hose to refill your Fresh Water Tank if you don't want to carry the tank into a grocery store or retail gardening store. Most people will let you have free water if they have a spigot on their property. When not in use store the hose in your 35 gallon storage tote.

Paper towels are a necessity in a Tiny Home. Cleaning up spills, wiping away condensation, wiping off oil residue from cooking, etc...You can even get an awesome paper towel dispenser. I have a good recommendation located on the "Cooking" page of this website. I keep extra rolls of paper towels and toilet paper in my "Pantry" 35 gallon storage tote.
