EQUIP YOUR TINY HOME

IT'S TIME TO EQUIP AND FURNISH YOUR TINY HOME!

This is YOUR Tiny Home and it's time to complete your masterpiece.  This is a blank canvas and you are ready to add the finishing touches to truly make this your HOME.

On my journey of Tiny-Sizing, I started furnishing my Stealth Home with items I already possessed.  It's not necessary to buy everything brand new.  Some people start and end their furnishings with a mattress.  That's it.

At one point during building, I installed my 50" LED flatscreen 3D Samsung TV.....well, it only took about a week for me to realize that was not the best idea, LOL.  Instead, I have the TV as a gift to my brother and instead got a 28" flat screen tv.  It worked MUCH better...and fit the space in a manageable way.  That's the idea -- to find what is manageable and what best fits the space.

In the process of choosing which of my possessions to keep and which to declutter, I read a book by Marie Kondo.
Marie Kondo's book about the art of "Tidying Up" helped me to be more clear about which items in my property I really cherished and valued.  It helped me to more easily make decisions about what to keep and what to discard or release or regift.

I actually listened to this book on Audible...I got a free book download just by trying out the service for 30 days.  Great!  I get a free pointer on organizing and decluttering, and could cancel the service after I finished listening to the book.

The moral of the story is ... I keep the possessions that give me joy and release the items that have served their purpose but are no longer relevant.

Personally, I wanted my Tiny Home to be a place of Relaxation, Rest, Fun and Freedom.  I kept property items representing those ideals and began releasing items that distracted me from those better qualities.

In the following pages, check out the actual items and appliances I chose to furnish my Tiny Home!
